Become an Adult Supporter

OFYC is led by youth between the ages of 14 and 25, but volunteers 25 or older play an important role in supporting the work of OFYC. Adult Supporters help out in a variety of ways, from providing transportation to recruiting new members, to helping members think through the creative process in order to accomplish their goals.

Click the button below to request to be an Adult Supporter of OFYC. We will be in touch with more information and an application when a volunteer opportunity arises.

You can also sign up for our email newsletter to receive updates about what our members are up to and how you can help!

Request an OFYC Youth Speaker

When OFYC members share their expertise, leaders listen. Our members are trained to strategically share their experiences in foster care and participate in a wide range of events and speaking engagements, including legislative events, grassroots child welfare movements, and training for foster parents, child welfare workers, CASAs, family law attorneys, and mental health practitioners. If your event or project would benefit from the unique perspective of youth who have lived in care, request an OFYC youth speaker today!
